The Orner Team, Claire and Rusty, founded Quiet Creek Herb Farm & School of Country Living in 1996 with a vision to educate others on sustainable living practices. Over the past 28 years, they've successfully hosted seminars covering mushroom cultivation, herbal soap making, renewable energy, organic gardening, earthen building, medicinal herbs, and whole-foods nutrition for learners of all ages, from kindergarteners to adults. Their mission thrives through grant writing, tax-deductible contributions, and educational improvement tax credits, allowing them to reach diverse communities across Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and even internationally in places like Jamaica, Japan, Guatemala, Africa, Spain, and France. Their dedication to teaching sustainable practices continues to inspire and empower individuals worldwide.
